Another study visit of African leaders to Barka Poland

On 21 November – 23 December 2011 a group of African Leaders from Uganda and Kenya visited Barka projects in London and Poland.
The group had a particular interest in the communities of Barka where “the support groups, democratic management and education are the priority”. The group is looking into establishing a Barka project of the Social Integration Centre in Kampala, Uganda. The Center would educate local villagers in vocational skills with a goal to establish own social enterprises. A group member Irene Apio, Director of “One Child – One Book” project in Kampala, is going to take part in a six-month internship in Barka UK’s projects in London.
