A dissertation entitled „Participatory Development – should it be saved” by Ola Ciurlik, Barka UK’s volunteer specializing in Africa. Ola is a graduate of the SOAS University of London (The School of Oriental and African Studies). In her thesis Ola describes the example of INISE, KCA, the Kanini Kaeso project and the Barka Network making a number of references to the work of the above mentioned organisations and their methodology based on participation and inclusion.
